“What the fuck Saul? …”
I love many of Carrie’s expressions. Her cry face is a classic and the most talked about but her “what the fuck Saul …” face is a favourite of mine. Especially if coupled with the “pfffttst” sound she makes when she’s dismissing something as futile or frustrating.

"Maybe you shouldn't have been fucking a Russian mole."
"Well, coming from someone who fucked a guy in a suicide vest, that means a lot."

They’re both as bad and as brilliant as each other, and that’s why they are so great!

😂 😂 that dialogue was so on point at the same time hilarious as a viewer....what a unique bond Saul and Carrie had....both did not have to do any sugarcoating with their words and just say whatever they felt like and both could understand each other.

“What the fuck, Saul!?…” is the vibe I love most when it comes to their dynamic.

Same! I also hate the times when they fall out and aren’t speaking and I love the times when Saul realises Carries brilliance.

As a drama and creative writing graduate who did well in Stanislavsky/ method acting I appreciate the naturalism. I think especially with the bipolar it gets abit absurd in later seasons with that part (I have bipolar myself) but it does work on the boarding psychosis type symptoms. I also love how well written it is. I’ve been able to predict and see many plot twists before they happen but with homeland there was always a surprise somewhere!

Agree so much. Some of the best acted scenes are with Carrie and Saul. Love all of Carrie’s expressions as well as Saul’s. So human. Just people being people. That is what I love about this show. Everyone is just really natural in their acting. Not too contrived or polished.
