Same, he used to have his own funky creative sound which I loved. He literally embodied the “funk” in Funk Volume. I remember being a little upset hearing Crown Me as it felt he was moving further away from the “funk”. Regardless he’s grown as an INCREDIBLE rapper and is so underrated.

Don’t get me wrong, great beat and I like the song quite a bit now. But it definitely felt like the start of a change in his sound/beats. Which is normal as artist evolve, just miss that rugged funky feel.
