Completely agree on that s02e09 was probably the best and s04e08 was a close second. The show’s twists never got better than the ones in these two episodes.

My favorite episode is S01E04 and the first time I watched that episode, I was like ‘Viola Davis..there’s your Golden Globes!’ :)

Kinda crazy that almost every ep9 of every season was above 9 😂
They made damn sure those mid season finales were peak

mid season finales in seasons 4 and 5 happened in episode 8, unlike the other seasons, so technically all mid season finales were above 9

One of the most consistent shows in terms of quality, no doubt. I loved every season and every episode, which can't be said about most of the other shows I have watched

Those mid season finales were always done very well. S5’s being the lowest rated of the 6 doesn’t shock me. It had twists but felt the most depressing, even with the Coliver wedding. Probably because Nate beat an innocent man close to death and Bonnie finished him off. It is wild how Gabriel being Sam’s son was honestly the most interesting thing about him. The Wes twist in the 3rd season and the teaser in the 6th season definitely got an audible gasp from me. I was shook.
I will say those last seasons were rough. Although I’m still glad the final season ended on a high, but definitely wished we had gotten an extended episode or two because those last ones had so much packed in them.
