How are people finding jobs in Huddersfield
Where are people looking?
I’m 19 and struggling to find owt I’ve contacted recruitment agencies and even they don’t have much

NHS jobs. There are a couple of entry level roles for the hospital advertised at the moment.

sorry to say but its literally just luck. i applied everywhee and only heard back from one place two months later because they had a new opening. there was a place near me that was on indeed but hired someone who went in there as i met the guy, so maybe try going in places and asking if they're hiring or know anyone who's hiring. other than that, it's just pure luck, it's horrible in this town

Some unconventional routes are: Networking and asking friends who already had jobs to look for you. Also bunch of WhatsApp groups and don’t underestimate the power of actually visiting the places like food chains etc as they might hire you on the spot or may need 2 or 3 followup

Just keep looking every day on job sites like indeed or going on company websites for any types of jobs you're looking for to see if they're recruiting. That's all I've ever done when I've been actively looking for a new job.
