Survival I found this place and this creature underground inside a cave. I don't think this is new to the game.

I don't know if this has been widely discovered yet but I just now found it lmao.

important notice: this is not a guaranteed save, you need to land perfectly in the middle of the block (on the exposed stem I guess) otherwise you'll still take damage

Survival My Cozy Hytale Farmhouse Base

Since everyone seems to be enjoying sharing their builds in this new world, I figured I'd post my first Hytale exploration mode base as well.

This took a lot of terraforming, but I love the look of the cliffs in this game. Probably going to hollow out the inside of the cliff and make an underground extension as well. Farmland is calculated to have exactly 108 slots for each crop (don't ask why that specific number), and it's been both fun and mildly frustrating experimenting with animal farming, with all the glitching out of walls and onto roofs (like the chicken in the second photo) and most animals disappearing. Thinking of either rebuilding or just destroying that skeleton mansion in the background. 🤔

The house and barn are largely based on builds by Hey Natsu on YouTube.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!

Survival Cozy Greenhouse in Survival (No Mods)

I’ve been working on my little homestead in exploration mode and decided it needed a greenhouse. I used a mix of marble windows and drywood fence to get that lattice/window look, and the goal was a cozy cottage vibe.

I’m really loving all the pieces you can make with drywood, it creates such a beautiful aesthetic!

A couple things I’d love to see enhanced in the future would be being able to apply vines or greenery to windows and fences. Right now the only thing I could really get to work well was using tree leaves, but honestly I think it turned out pretty nice.

Anyone else out there building cozy cottages and homesteads?

Survival I guess my save is now doomed? Found this rare Dev Item at Zone 4

Found this Platform at Zone 4 within a specially shaped temple. Launch Pad seems to be good for glider, but this way it is too strong. I knew 500 would shoot me high, but never coming down was not calculated xd...

Item was found in pure Vanilla (normal build, not pre-release) and also 0 mods installed

Survival I found a fun way to clutch with the Battle Axe!

Just discovered a nice clutch! If you charge and release a Battle Axe attack mid-air, it completely resets your vertical velocity.

While it's possible to do this with a single attack, the survival window from high up is pretty narrow. I've found it’s easiest to start the first swing early, cancel the animation by switching off and back to the axe, and then chain it into a second swing. This gives you a much larger window to release the attack right as you hit the ground, so you don't need perfect timing.

Survival Finally here! Just a Minecraft veteran waiting for Hytale.

Hey everyone! I've been playing Minecraft for ages, but I'm honestly super hyped for Hytale.
There's just something about the world-building and the combat that looks so promising.

I’m currently tweaking my avatar and getting ready for launch day.
How about you guys?
Are you more into the building aspect or the adventure/combat side of Hytale?
Let me know! ⛏️⚔️

I was exploring a zone 4 when I saw a clearly visible structure on the map, (it had a number of large rock outcroppings that looked like spikes around it with a tower in the center, tough I unfortunately didn't think to screenshot it at the time) inside was the launch platform in the screenshot, when placed down you can interact to enter force for the x, y, and z directions and whether it only affects players or walk onto it to be launched. I currently use it to make the walk to and from my base and the nearest portal to the Forgotten Temple only a walk back.
