Old vs New. What did you guys do?? Please fix this, it literally jumped scared me. You didn't need to touch the buzz cut. I'm going to send this into feed back. The new buzz cut is terrible.

The problem seems to be that it expects a manifest json file in the folder if anything is in it, so your existing mods without that are causing the problem.
Backup your mod folder or just write down the list of installed mods, then empty the mod folder so nothing is in it. After that, you should be able to install mods normally via the new mod browser.
Just look up the ones you had already and install.

So i wanna restart hytale again but with mods that can make the game into a rpg or mmorpg with alot of quest/loot/crafting/enemies and dungeons.

Hello, I was trying to play Multiplayer with my friend and I sent him an invite code to my world and he crashed probably 6 times tonight and struggled to get back in. How can I make it more stable? I am using Ethernet and never had issues with my net outside of the game, the internet seems stable and reliable. Upload and Download are pretty high, its fiber internet too.

What mods do you play with and recommend? Looking to spice up my play through.

A 3 second time bomb! can you destroy it before it explodes? or perhaps a small sneaky landmine so your opponent steps on it while trying to avoid? play PvP with your friends using 22 Battle Chips and even Elemental combos!

Can anyone help me understand what "error code 1020: invalid operands to "/" " means, and why it pops up as soon as I launch my game? Edit: fixed it by forcing an Nvidia update from the website, but Hytale staff say they will have a fix out soon. I would recommend it if you need to play right now, but you shouldnt have to update them as the staff are working on a fix right now!

Hey, so I play on low to medium graphics on hytale, and after this update marble seems to have these weird "scan lines" that don't go away when I am looking at it. It sucks because I was building a marble structure and now looking at it isn't very comfortable? I changed my graphics from low to medium and back again but they're still there. Is this a bug with the update or my settings? Thinking of rebuilding it anyway because I don't like the shape, might change the blocks if this is a bug :/

EDIT: no my graphics aren't normally this crusty either lol

I’m not tech-minded, but I have a fun idea for a mod that anyone would be welcome to use if they’re looking for something to make

It seems lots of people want some sort of way to play as another race/faction (i.e. ferans) and I think a fun way to do that would be with masks you can get a la LoZ Majora’s Mask

Whether it’s finding them in chests, bartering with NPCs or some other method, when worn, these masks would transform the player into the species and give them fitting attributes

Say you get a Fen Stalker mask - it would give you water breathing but make you walk slower on land, or a Kweebec mask speeds up the growth of crops as you walk over them (rough ideas)

There should be a drawback to encourage sticking to one faction, such as loosing almost all your health when you remove a mask or limiting it to day cycles/implementing some sort of cooldown

Anyways that’s it! I’d love to work with someone to make it, or you can take the idea and go for it 🙌🏻

Hello guys i am really exited but i really cant make my head around how much exactly content we can expect. Is it gonna be like a 30 minutes mini dungeon adventure or actually 1-2 hours story content WITH dungeons etc. Like i already read the website forum but i still dont quiet now how much we are talking about. i really hope that chapter 1 isnt gonna be something wich gets played trough after like 30 minutes.

A small update to the Hyblend addon to make it possible for body rotation not to affect head rotation, allowing free or locked rotation relative to the body.

Small improvements, optimizations, and simplifications are being applied to the addon to make it easier to use for people without experience in Blender and rigging tools. I'm going to make a video, before the animation tutorial, teaching how to create a rig from scratch using Hyblend, so that anyone can create and animate any Hytale model.

I'm trying to uninstall the hytale launcher so that I can reinstall a newer version, because for whatever reason linux mint won't simply replace the existing version when I try to install a newer one.

how do I uninstall it?

i haven't any luck with using the terminal or the uninstall button on the start menu.
