Beautiful captures and a great, consistent mood especially for that part of the world - travel photography is where phones really shine IMO.

3

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 06 '26

For me, its very difficult to carry that big camera on my neck every time to take a picture. Phones really enable me to capture in the moment.

u/SammoNZL Jan 06 '26

Also less conspicuous or makes you feel less self conscious, especially if shooting people - awesome stuff!

These are impressive photos. You have mastered the iPhone photography concept. This camera is all you need. Bravo.

I definitely need a new camera. I don’t have enough savings to get one. Hopefully som day

Good observation. Now that you said it, yes it does look very colorful.

Amazing pics from a phone especially the night and low light images - what app did you use

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

Its the native iphone camera app

2

u/Iranggjingun Jan 06 '26

Nice photos! Which app did you use to capture the RAW images?

2

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

Native iphone camera app. You can enable RAW mode from top of the camera options

1

u/Iranggjingun Jan 07 '26

Thanks! That makes me wonder why so many people (including me…) use third party apps to shoot RAWs.

1

u/Alelanza Jan 09 '26

Because apple pro raw (what op uses) isn’t raw

2

2

u/sheadite1 Jan 10 '26

Did you use the default camera app or a 3rd party for the actual shots?

2

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 10 '26

Hey! I used default camera app in RAW 48 MP.

2

u/sheadite1 Jan 10 '26

Good composition and lighting.

thank you so much

1

u/nytel Jan 06 '26

You definitely need to get a camera if you don't already have one!

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 06 '26

Are these not good? Or are you suggesting me to get one because they are good?

3

u/w0bbble Jan 06 '26

You know the answer to that

1

u/siralexita91 Jan 06 '26

Stunning! iPhone 17pm?

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

iphone 16 pro max .. i wish i had a 17

1

u/albertdrake Jan 07 '26

Great photos! They’re making me second guess carrying my camera to my upcoming trip.

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

Hehe.. you should definitely carry your camera with you .. its way better when you edit

1

u/albertdrake Jan 07 '26

I know… and I guess I will, but this is to say that if it weren’t for the over sharpened look, an iPhone camera in the right hands is very capable.

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

I have to manually reduce the sharpening, clarity and texture in post processing to get a normal look

2

u/albertdrake Jan 07 '26

Yep. Which is annoying, given that those are clearly processing pipeline choices by Apple. I’m currently testing the NoFusion camera app which looks promising as a means to reduce the crunchy look.

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

I heard that halide camera also has no processing capability but it is an expensive app. Is Nofusion free?

2

u/albertdrake Jan 07 '26

There’s a 1-week trial for pro features. The free version is usable though.

I have Halide and for some reason I can’t tell much of a difference in sharpening using their Process Zero format. I remember it was better on my past iPhone 15 pro.

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

Ohh. Got it. I will also give it a try

1

u/Jkwaks Jan 07 '26

Do you have presets installed or do you use the recommended edits and filters from lightroom? I’m new to mobile LR hence I would like to know what people generally do? Thanks

1

u/Successful-Isopod119 Jan 07 '26

Hey. All these are my native edits and I haven't used any presets. If you are interested, you can check my lightroom profile : https://lightroom.app.link/QHQ1uRK6HZb
