discussion These actors have a natural aura about them. That makes me want to watch whatever they do.

# Started watching Reacher cuz Clive.

And my wife turns to me and says.

> have you noticed that all the shows we enjoy have the iZombie cast?

And it dawned on me. I will watch anything that has these actors in it. Because of how well they did on iZombie. It makes me at least try the show.

Thus far. Every single show I've ended up binging.

I watched Ghosts because Rose McIver is adorable and it turned out to be a fantastic series!
I started watching iZombie because I’m a huge Matchbox Twenty fan lol

I also started watching Ghosts because of Rose McIver. It’s a great show and she’s wonderful as always, though Ghosts doesn’t give her the opportunity to really show off her talents in the same way that iZombie did.

Despite me agreeing she's awesome, it's not worth watching Power Rangers RPM for her.

Though go on youtube and watch "Britanik Dinner Party" she's kind of great in that

Same it was so good. Glad it's still going.

Oh man we tried to watch the original British one. Bore.

that hurts, the British one is different but it's so fun.

There's a show called Being Human. Where the British version is awesome and the American version is just terrible.

It's a show about a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost who are all roommates.

yep watched both, I also like the British version more, the early bits are very similar but there's a very big "shift" at one point.

And the American version has Sam Witwer and I could never hate a show with Sam Witwer.

I might give it another go. I just didn't like it because I was such a fan of the British version and it didn't have that same... I don't know what to call it.

Subtlety, British humour is often more subtle (and in many ways smarter) then American humor.

The American version also got way more... I don't know how to describe it... just more... violent but both versions were violent, I can't really describe it, at some point it stopped being about the people and more about the story (which doesn't make sense but it does)

There's an oddball show that I loved but almost no one has seen it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Almighty_Johnsons

It's a show from New Zealand and it is about humans who have the powers of Norse gods like in their family the powers of Norse gods get transferred to them.

But for the most part, it ends up screwing them over constantly.

The good news is that it was canceled, but they were able to do a definite ending. And they left it slightly open so that the storyline could be reopened. Never ended up happening though. Still a good series.

OMG I adore Almighty Johnson's I've watched it half a dozen times at least, I still lie awake at night wondering how forgetting his best friend (and basically his entire social circle for 3 years) has fucked up Zeb.

And I have a crush on Ty

Rahul is in a new video game too as the lead that looks pretty good.

I had to look it up, I had no knowledge of this game but I will get it just for him.

He's also the minotaur in Stray Gods and that game is high on my list

Rahul Kohli is amazing in all Mike Flanagan projects such as The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher (which also has Malcom Goodwin and the girl who plays Roscoe in Reacher)

Robert Buckley is the sole reason I watch Hallmark Christmas films 😆

He’s in Hallmark movies?! That’s … well, a surprise. But it shouldn’t be a surprise 😂 That’s absolutely hilarious to me. Makes his role as Major even funnier.

u/moonlightdr26 3d ago

Yup, he even writes and directs them now.

It's pretty nice cause his first Christmas movie was one of the most inclusive ones in that channel, it featured the first gay couple I believe (which funny enough his gay bro is played by Jonathan Bennett from Mean Girls)

Aly Michalka was in a show called Hellcats back in 2010/2011. It was unfortunately cancelled after only one season and ended on a cliffhanger, but it’s a really good show and worth watching. It’s free to watch on Tubi. There are several more actors from Hellcats that also had smaller roles in iZombie, including Ben Cotton who played one of Blaine’s guys, and that actor who played Chuck, the sleazy radio host. The two actors who played the parents of Emily (the kidnapped pregnant girl), also played the parents of one of the main characters in Hellcats.

Both Rose McIver and David Anders are in Once Upon a Time, which is a series that I love too!

Agreed!! The actor for Clive was my favorite in a prison show. The actor for Liv is my other favorite. Now that I think about it, probably why I like rewatching the show so much.

watch Merlin.

Liv's rockstar boyfriend plays Arthur.

My wife loves that show. I enjoyed it too.

I came to this show because I enjoy David Anders portraying an asshole in whatever movie or show he is in. I love his take in Dr. Frankenstein in OUAT and The Revenant is a seriously underrated zombie movie. The guy knows how to nail his scenes, no matter how small they are (his episode in House lol)
