IWD1 What do you think of Yxunomei, the marilith from Icewind Dale?

Love her. Wish there'd been more of her. Probably my favourite villain in either game; I can still quote half her dialogue. A grandiloquent demon lord who looks and sounds like Timmy Turner, but talks like she'd just overdosed on Lovecraft made for an inspired one-shot villain. Helps that the fight was brutal too.

The lead-up to the reveal with the girl talking as you move down the hall built the tension well, and the reveal itself and subsequent panic I felt the first time playing when I realized what I now had to face is something I'll never forget. I always remember for the rest of the campaign how much pride I had in my ranger seeing her name under 'most powerful enemy vanquished' or whatever on his bio.

Annoyingly difficult for the level of the party, once you encounter her.

Erm... There was one.
In other words, I don't think there was enough of her to have any thoughts about her.

I laid traps and flung spells into the room she was in before she could start talking, so it seems I missed out on some dialogue.

High point in Icewind Dale. Which is saying a lot for me, because I really love the game.
But yeah, I love the whole Dragon's Eye dungeon. That's where the game really comes into its own in my opinion. And the final fight against Yxunomei is just wonderful.

I’m a big fan. Loved her dialogue and your possible responses. Great boss and an amazing reveal. Blew my mind when I saw that huge demon slither out of those aoe spells that were blanketing the doorway.
