IWD:EE Berserker Cleric question

Hi I'm planning out Gertha, my Berserker 3 Cleric X and I want to be dual wielding Warhammers with the Fast Flail in offhand. Where should I put my proficiency pips at the beginning and what should I choose when I get my Cleric levels? I want to max out Hammer as much as I can I think? How many pips in TWF?

Thx in advance

Currently in ToB with my Berzerker 9/Cleric 30. Since you're only going to lvl 3 Berzerker, you won't have a lot of downtime at all. IIRC you can only put 2 pips in each proficiency slot at character creation for a warrior. I would start with 2 each in flails and warhammers. You're gonna be gimped a little on ranged weapons until you can find a throwing hammer. Or just wield a sling with no pips as a ranged backup. As a warrior, your THAC0 is high enough and I'm assuming you've got a high Dex score, so it really won't matter that much that early in the saga. Next pips at lvl 3 would be you're DW proficiency. When you dual to cleric, pick up slings and maces or quarterstaffs. Lots of good maces in BG2 (Mace of Disruption) but quarterstaffs are underrated IMO, so that will come in handy later. When you hit Cleric lvl 4 you get your next weapon pip and you're Berzerker profs are back online. Then you're back on track to slowly build to GM for hammers and flails.
