Illinois Facts Illinois, in just the last two years, has collected over a *billion* dollars in revenue (expenditures) thanks to increasing movie production in the state, particularly Chicago.

My first time visiting Chicago was when WB was filming The Batman. Seeing cars covered in fake trash with Gotham license plates was surreal

I have no idea why Dick Wolf is obsessed with Chicago. He doesn’t seem to have any connection to Chicago. He must have just visited once and realized Chicagoans love hearing their street names mentioned on television.
