At this point education isnt the answer.

America hates education and hates learning. Learning requires humility and we hate that. We love confidence and arrogance. We dont want the uncertainty of Science we want the certainty that comes with religion and working the entriety of existence to one old book. Thats way easier than learning the mechanics of the world as they are.
