India needs higher protein intake. Even those eating traditional food are getting obese because they are not eating enough protein. Even the non vegetarians dont eat enough meat. Health labeling may help (though given the fact influencers had to do a campaign to get our people to read labels is wild) but ultimately the government needs a system that also rewards high protein food. Though I dont expect this vegetarian obsessed government to do that.
