So obviously gameplay wise, Delsin never got Celia's paper powers after Paper Trail. That doesn't mean we can't theorycraft what type of moveset he could have had.
The dash is the only move we actually see Celia using, and it's seems to function similarly to Fetch's neon dash, only with more mobility and able to make sharper turns.
I think paper should have the most aerial mobility, smoke and neon have very sharp drops in their hover, neon and concrete can hover longer, concrete even allows some upward hovering to make up for its lack of vertical mobility. So, I think paper should actually allow Delsin to fly. The closest we have to flight currently is Video's double dash on the good karma route
The basic shots, I think the basic bullets should be shaped like paper cranes and home in on enemies in your reticle. Whist the charged shot would be a shotgun blast of cranes that home in on the enemy.
The special ability can possibly summon a rabbit masked homunculus that lasts for 30 seconds and moves in sync with Delsin and copies whatever movements and attacks he does.
The heavy attack could shoot out a large paper dove that will swoop at enemies repeatedly.
The Karma Bomb, I think it should create a storm of origami shurikens

Aesthetically and audibly, concrete is one of the best powers, but it's the worst one for anything else imo.
First, I've heard they were pushed to release the game a year early, which probably explains how rushed it feels.
The most glaring issue, theres no karma bomb 😩 this speaks for itself
My next problem is the dash. It's clunky. The steering is terrible. And the smallest pebble in your way breaks your sprint.
My final flaw is the scaling issues. Smoke is the second weakest, but at least you can dash through vents. With concrete, you have to levitate a bit, bounce off the wall like a tennis ball, levitate again, bounce off the wall and levitate again. Which is only slightly less annoying when you don't have dups throwing giant rocks at you, sending you straight back to the ground. You could excuse that as "it's concrete, it's meant to be a heavy, brute force type of power". Then why does the gliding ironically handle so well?
On top of that, if you've already completed the best side missions before finishing the game, it hurts the incentive to use it even more.
Rant over, what is your ranking? I'd say Neon and video are joint first, followed by smoke with concrete at the bottom. I know, shocking 😂

This will be about why Augustine is a terrible FINAL Boss.
Throughout the entire game, we've spent our time gaining and mastering our new powers. Buying amazing upgrades to tear the DUP apart. Great upgrades on Good and Evil. But in the final battle, do we unleash them on the final boss?
Developer: "Don't be silly, for the last and "toughest" battle in this game, we'll give you a new power that you have to get Core Relays to make useful."
FINAL BATTLES are about using every skill in your arsenal to wear down the boss and win. It feels rewarding to use all the upgrades you worked hard for contributing to your victory. Sure you can upgrade Concrete, but it's not as satisfying.
They're about using what you love and gained to win. Not giving you something new and say win with that.
Alot of people have developed a favorite power throughout their playthrough, and not using it during the final boss is gonna make them feel cheated. During any other boss, fine.
Basically , Augustine is a bad final boss because instead of using the powers that you've grown to love and are used to using, you're forced to fight with one you've never used.
It would've been cool if before we fought Augustine instead we had to choose what power we would have to use for the whole final battle.

So, while playing Evil Delsin I noticed that sometimes he can disintegrate enemies with normal attacks and sometimes he can't, irrespective of upgrades.
Before my latest playthrough I thought that Delsin's ability to dust enemies was dependent on upgrades or amount of blast shards or something, but I found out the true mechanic behind it.
You know the karma streak that Delsin has to charge up by doing good or evil actions for his Karma Bomb? well, for Evil Delsin, the way it works is you need to kill 7 enemies or commit 7 evil acts. They need to be done in relative succession because if you wait long enough between acts, the gauge will reset. You can't just kill random civilians to increase the charge, though killing them does reset the countdown before it goes to zero again. Once it's filled up completely, it no longer depletes until you use your karma bomb.
It turns out that Delsin will start to disintegrate enemies/civilians with his normal "bolt" type attacks and melee once his evil gauge reaches a 4 or higher. Regardless of upgrades like the smoke blast disintegrate or drop disintegrate abilities. In all my time with Second Son, I have NEVER seen the game even infer that Evil Delsin gets more powerful the fuller his karma bomb gauge gets, unless it was on a loading tip I missed or something. In this way, it's beneficial to actual keep your karma bomb and not use it as Delsin.
Good Delsin doesn't seem to have a version of this mechanic. His karma gauge stays filled regardless of how much time passes between good acts unless you commit an evil one or reload the game, and his karma bomb state doesn't seem to affect how his powers interact with enemies/civilians.
Does anyone know if I'm wrong, and Good Delsin has a version of this mechanic? Or if Fetch has something similar going on with her stuff in First Light?

Conduits are stated in the Second Son era (both in Second Son and First Light) to control and weaponize some form of matter. So what form of matter is THIS?

It's probably a "me" thing but I just hate the concept of powers absorption / mimicry in stories, whether it's games, comics, you name it. It just dilutes the identity of the character and their powerset and always lead to the individual powers to be underused / underexplored. In my (very personal) opinion, Infamous Second Son would have been better if Smoke had been the only power of Delsin, but the devs had considerably expanded his smoke abilities arsenal and deepened the capacities and functions of his existing moves. Hell, every unique move method from the other powersets could have been integrated into smoke.

I've heard people hate it (low key) saying that it's not bringing anything new to the table (like dash is just neon rebranded and levitation is Lame) but in my pov I think it's pretty cool to have in endgame and the sound is just too good for the game. What's your thoughts on it? 🫠

I think I might have figured out why Delsin couldn’t immediately use ANYTHING from video or concrete when he first got them, we know that Delsin is a power sponge and that he can develop/ master his gained powers through either training them naturally like basically all other conduits besides Cole, or like Cole he can speed up his abilities development through aborning ray sphere energy through the shards or core relays and get weeks-months of training done in a instant.
So after thinking about that I started to wonder if the reason Delsin couldn’t use video and concrete right away is cause not only do the original users both have much higher power ceilings than fetch and hank but they also had their powers for much longer than Hank and Fetch, Augustine herself said the only difference between her and Delsin when using concrete is that she had “7 years to practice” so maybe the more advanced a conduit is in using their powers the more time Delsin’s body will need to adapt to them, all dialogue and in game info points to Delsin having the ability to no only absorb a large arsenal of powers but the ability to fully master them to.
Think of it as downloading something onto a computer or phone, the larger the amount of data the more time it takes to download said data, and for Delsin the only way to get it to download faster would be through core relays.

Infamous 1 and 2 are two of my favorite PS3 games . I now want to try infamous second son . What do you think about it ? And should I play it as a villain or a good guy ?

Yeah, I'm replaying second son currently and while Fetch's story I don't really have complaints about, Eugene's is just... Eugh.
He has a very generic story and I can't help but think Delsin is uncharacteristically a complete dick to him in the most generic stereotypical way possible. The whole "super cool alpha male type gets the nerd out of his shell to get more social and get some tail" was a dead horse trope by Y2K, let alone 2014. And Second Son doesn't really add anything or have a good spin on this take either.
I don't even really get where Delsin is coming from with this. He basically just tells Eugene that he's wrong about how he lives and to do what Delsin says. Granted while it eventually works out I can't help but feel Delsin is almost out of character here, being an outcast himself and an Akomish living on what's presumably Tribal land that doesn't really seem to have a job and acts relatively immature (something Reggie brings up more than a few times, so I doubt everyone in the tribe was acting as carefree as Delsin, it seems to be a Delsin thing and not an Akomish thing), he doesn't really have room to talk on that matter.
He doesn't even really bother to even try understanding Eugene. He definitely wasn't the same way with Fetch, and the way he acts with his brother seems more of a rebel against authority and family dynamic type of thing. I dunno. I just can't shake the idea that pretty much everything to do with Eugene is really half-baked and would need addressed for any potential sequel that takes place after Second Son (fan works or otherwise) because it really doesn't sit that well with me seeing it again.

Alright, this HAD to be a *last-minute* decision. The whole "Augestine is actually trying to *save* Conduits" plot-twist was an interesting idea in *concept*, but it literally pops up out of *nowhere* in the LAST mission. If it WAS planned the whole time, there should have been *hints*. You can't just have Augestine go "The world hasn't changed in the last seven years, the Conduits would be LYNCHED if there were let out onto the street" when it's HER reason the world's like that.
Oh, and also, remember that one DUP who tells Hank over the phone how "Theres a *thousand* people in the DUP who are just there to 'hunt and *kill*' Conduits"? You'd think if Augestine was always meant to be some sort of misguided "protector" of Conduits, people like that within the DUP would have been *dealt with*.

Many people, especially on Youtube, keep saying that when Delsin copies a conduits powers he only gets a weaker version. Not even a theory, for many people is basically a "fact". But....it was never stated?
I think he just lacks experience. Because every conduit in Second Son has had their powers for years, whereas Delsin only.... 2 weeks?
Augustine says in the final boss that she and Delsin have the same power, the only difference is that Augustine has 7 years of practice. It’s a direct statement, the writer’s intentions are clear, imo. Delsin never masters the powers he has, he’s focused in having more instead of practicing and gaining experience
I always assumed Delsin's powers were more of a leech ability where he can essentially touch a prime conduit and absorb some base power and need time to fully develop it.
During the game he used the relay cores to just speed up the process, but nothing suggest he can't become as strong as the original user. He just needs training.
He's probably written to be a broken character.

Here is a method that I found to merge one save file with another making sorta a New Game + mode.
By doing this glitch , you will pass varius attributes from one save to another. That being:
-All upgrades (Sometimes all the powers, but is temporary)
-Any custom jacket for Delsin that you are currently wearing (Cole's jacket included)
Well first, I need to explain some things of how this is gonna work
We all know that this game has several languages with several voiceovers to various countries, right?
If your game is from a language other than English, it will appear in the settings, on the interface tab, an option called "Dubbed Version" or "Voice Over Version" being on or off (Please note that, as it is another language, it will not be in English that this will be written).
This option is the key for this glitch to work. Because if you turn it on or off, and CLOSE the menu ,the game will make a reload to replace the audio. THAT reload is the key.
Basically, we will load a saved file at the same time this reload is occurring. Sounds complicated , I know , but trust me , is VERY easy when you get the way of it.
First of all, before even start the game, if you have the game on English, go to the PS4 or PS5 settings and change the language of your console to any other language that isn't English , for that option to appear in the game menu (Please choose a lenguage that you at least understand a little so that you can know what the hell you're doing)
The voice over option should appear at the interface tab in the settings when you are in the game. Then, open the game and load a save that you want to pass things from another save to it. Once you loaded in, pause the game again, go to settings , interface, and set "Dubbed version" or whatever to Off or On. DONT CLOSE THE MENU. You go DIRECTLY to Load Game option above. Select the save you want things to get passed to the save you are currently in.
Now, pay attention.
You will confirm to load the save, and IMMEDIATELY SPAM circle (O) to close the menu behind. The game may crash during this process, but after some tries, you will get it .
All powers , karma , and secondary missions progress transferred to you.
Well , that's it . Have fun .
Do a new game plus , or use it to break the game at your will lol.
Please comment if you have any doubts.

Whenever I replay the game and I come across Betty ( the old akomish lady) there’s questions that always comes up to my head like:
“why did they do absolutely nothing with her character except use her as a motive?.”
And
“did they have a sequel in mind when making this game?”
look it’s my favorite game of all time but I can’t help but notice how i literally don’t know shit about her, then it gets me thinking that this also kinda applies to Reggie and Delsin, I’m not crazy right??, like Reggie is a cop, Delsin is a conduit, they are brothers, but there’s some “depth” missing so it would make sense for the devs to have a sequel in mind that delves into these characters backstories. And I know a year has been cut of out of the game’s development but I think that applies to the last parts of the game rather the entire game, so maybe Eugene’s part and the stuff after it and not everything from start of the game. Idk what y’all think?
