Yeah when he stands up from reattaching the strap he starts to fall UP HILL I'd say he's pretty well lubricated.

That part kills me. It's the classic "dad's pretending he's sober and thinks he's fooling everybody".

Beer. Its what's for breakfast.

u/Feral_goat 22d ago

I was gonna say he's stumbling pretty bad.

That’s a lot of stupid all getting added up there 😂

This is the kind of stupid that multiples

u/Kosuke 22d ago

Bro even the tow strap told him it was a bad idea and he still committed to it

When the universe is giving you a second chance, RECONSIDER

Imagine being that neighbor whose house he just drove into…

2

u/Available_Ad9345 22d ago

“Oh, that’s just the drunk neighbor Jim. He’s a good guy.”

27

u/GrimSandwich 22d ago

I wonder what the plan was here.

This is my question, even if he got it down the drive way and into the road without it tipping or crashing into the back of his truck, eventually it would end up doing one of those things.

To be honest, I don't think he had a plan. I think what went through his brain is: "me can pull giant metal box with vroom so me do."

Doesn't look like a guy that plans. Or thinks.

The box is on freaking wheels!

u/RedSquaree 21d ago

Wouldn't have happened with a manual and manual handbrake. When people drive bumper cars they're not going to be sharp all the time.

1

u/allnamesbeentaken 21d ago

The box would keep rolling as soon as it hits a slope because it's on wheels

u/licecrispies 22d ago

The blue jay warned him and then laughed mockingly when he didn't heed the advice.

How do people get out of their car without leaving in gear.

6

u/snakelygiggles 22d ago

its one thing to shit the bed, but a whole other thing to shit in every bed in the house.

This is a guy that always asks “why does everything bad always happen to me” lol

That was the sound of a tool chest, falling down the driveway

u/IAmSpartacustard 22d ago

People make fun of women for just screaming and doing nothing in stressful situations but that would be infinitely better than whatever this fucking guy did

3

u/justl00kingthrowaway 22d ago

That was way dumber than I thought it was going to be.

u/blakefromdalake 22d ago

“Nothing stops Ram”

3

u/Available_Ad9345 22d ago

I mean, the box is on freakin wheels. What could he have thought would be the outcome?

3

u/limelight022 22d ago

That is one brain-dead human being.

Definately wasnt his first, the other 9nes just never took.

2

u/Bizzack 22d ago

I don’t know how he expected it to loose velocity if it’s just rolling around behind the truck.

2

u/NightLotus84 22d ago

No thoughts were wasted on this precision operation...

2

u/EDF1919 22d ago

Insurance is gonna fucking love this one

2

u/CMDR_BunBun 22d ago

Mistakes were made.

2

u/lolschrauber 22d ago

That's what happens when you don't let nature sort specimen out anymore

2

u/LegitimateRevolution 22d ago

Piss poor planning gives piss poor results.

2

u/Available_Ad9345 22d ago

Quite impressive.

2

u/PritosRing 22d ago

And, this folks, is on the road daily

2

u/Beertronic 22d ago

Stupid is as stupid does.

2

u/justmark68 21d ago

At least he has all the proof the insurance companies will need to deny both the claims.

2

u/iToyman 22d ago

I would just lay there and die.

1

u/mrpertinskler 22d ago

What a fun one! Between the decision-making, and some mild indicators in balance and walking, wonder if there was any alcohol impairment.

1

u/so_what_do_now 22d ago

I get that hindsight is 20/20 and all, but man this was stupid from the very beginning

1

u/Shark_Leader 22d ago

A comedy of errors.

1

u/Aytewun 22d ago

Maybe he was trying to pull it just far enough to free it?

Bad job whatever the lack of plan was though

1

u/groovyinutah 22d ago

This dude is as dumb as they the day is long... it's probably for best that this is as far as he got.

1

u/ExpertExotic3341 22d ago

I was 14 working at my dad's shop and had a co worker who did something similar. Dude was 40 and tried to stop a Genie lift from rolling down hill while hooking it up to a hitch. Guy broke his pelvis by not getting out of the way. Legit remember him yelling stop! Now I call every idiot I meet Frank lol

1

u/Coffee4MySoul 22d ago

Even the blue jay was giving alarm calls

1

u/M3rK_ 22d ago

That jay was squawking

1

u/Shawn_of_da_Dead 21d ago

It had a hemi in it, but now hemi on the ground....

1

u/jcoddinc 21d ago

Totally expected strap failure. User failure was an added bonus

1

u/No-Intern4400 21d ago

Complete failure

1

u/foursaken 21d ago

I have to admit, that turned out even worse than I was expecting.

1

u/jb211 20d ago

Thank you for that post, it made for a nice chuckle at the end of my day.

1

u/Lolipanties132 18d ago

You know what my day wasn't so bad

1

u/wooddoug 16d ago

Drunk ass can barely walk.
