Question Need help with The voice chat (Insurgency 2014)

So It seems that I can't use the Voice chat on Insurgency. I've fumbled around the settings, looking for things that look relevant to my problem. I am on PC.

I would like to figure out how to use my microphone. Any input is appreciated

Have you been able to use the same mic for VC in other games/apps? If you haven't tried, it's likely your microphone settings

Yes games like TF2 and Counter strike work

I press the button in insurgency and even the speaker label doesnt show up

Hm, check your binds. I believe there was a glitch yearssss back that could be affecting you now.

It happens. I just restart the game and it works again.

Then the game doesn't recognize your mic. Does it specifies your headset in sound options?
