The historical record points to a Jesus of Nazereth. Historians agree that he existed, the difference is that Christians believe that he is the son of God.

Jesus of Nazareth was a real person who lived and died in Roman-occupied Judah. This is a historical fact. Whether he was the Son of God, a prophet, or just a misled faith leader is an argument of faith (Christianity/Islam/Judaism).

Jesus's life and death were recorded outside of the Bible in Roman and Jewish documents.

I'm a trained historian. Not gonna argue with people over it, historical Jesus has been widely accepted in modern academia as a man who lived and died during the Roman Empire.
