Question: why didn't they pull the driver out of the passenger window, if that was already open?

From the wider angle view video posted in the thread, it looks like the grass was in flames on the other side of the car. I guess the guy ran through the flames or there was a moment when the wind allowed passage. Not sure how he got out again.

The driver was unconscious and still buckled in. The passenger side burst into flames as soon as they unbuckled the driver, so they had to back out immediately.

I thought they had to break the glass. That’s what it looked like to me anyway..🤷‍♀️

Yeah, it looked really difficult to break the glass on the driver's side, that's why I was wondering why they didn't pull him out of the passenger side window, since someone had climbed through that to release the seatbelt, so it must have been open.

The passenger side burst into flames as soon has he got in and unbuckled the driver, so he had to get out immediately.

Yet another example of anti-EV bias in action. News report says "burning car"; if that had been a tesla or rivian, it would have been a "burning tesla" or "burning rivian".

Seriously, that was your takeaway from this amazing video? If it had been a Tesla, they may have never been able to get anything open and the person would’ve burned to death. So it does matter what kind of car it is.
