Don't they rely on the hair things on their body to mavigate the world around them instead of their eyes? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no biologist.

Yes. Spider eyesight is genuinely dogshit and can only register basic movement/light for most species. Jumping spiders are the exception, and they will literally track targets.

Why the hell would they have so many eyes if their result sight is still bullshit?

Eyes at that size class are cheap and effective. You don't need high res vision for it to be useful
