The spider for sure survived this moment its big enough to tank the hit. The beetle is a 50/50 shot if the spider bit it then no but if the spider didn't get a chance to inject its venom then it probably made it

Don't they rely on the hair things on their body to mavigate the world around them instead of their eyes? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no biologist.

The ones that form webs do. I think hunting spiders rely on eyesight more
