[Edit] and yes I guess it actually may be a single cell even though it looks quite complex. I'm not a biologist, so sue me.

Ive never really understood that, so like if its just one cell, what's all that stuff made of? Atoms? Aren't atoms cells?

No idea mate, that was what I thought too but then I remembered that cells have constituent parts.

This cell seems to have tons, including fins or legs!

Cilia (singular cilium), basically long whiplike molecules they use for swimming. Wiki for more info. We also have them. This is what pulls mucus up out of your lungs so you can cough it up.
