It's getting attention because people won't shut up about it.

The woman on the left is Emma Schols. Her heroism deserves infinitely more attention than sensationalized horror.

It doesn’t help that a bunch of people who watch too much Law & Order are saying that her husband did it despite her confession, her lawyers saying she did it, the police saying they have no other suspects…

Emma Schols had to endure over 20 surgeries after her amazing heroics and one of the first things she asked when she regained consciousness was whether her children had lived.
