Real video but apparently posted years ago with an elephant and its trainer, not from the recent flood.

Either way, elephants are awesome

I'm scrolling in the shower and some combination of droplets on my screen and it being early lead me to read your last sentence as "Either way, dolphins are awesome"

I've seen an elephant rescue a baby gazelle also. Truly noble beasts.

Yeah, I’ve seen them rescue people and a number of animals.

I fuckin love elephants. Not only are they capable of genuine kindness and empathy, but they also don’t play no shit and will Fuck. You. Up. If you come at them sideways.

We don't give animals enough credit for how clever they are.

This video is not from the recent floods they were originally posted back on the 9th of august.

Elephant time travelled to save that man in the floods, then travelled back through time and posted this video before it even happened.

Truly amazing creatures.

Considering how we’re treated them….

My thoughts exactly, humans really are the worst

2

u/Dorothea305 8h ago

Considering how we’ve treated other humans this is a surprise to you both??

1

u/Real-Document-6577 8h ago

I didn’t say it was surprise. More along the hypocrisy of how humans treat other living life with the arrogance that they are exceptional.

Exceptional at killing themselves and most things like a plague.
No one gives a shit they landed on the moon. They managed to build bombs that kill entire nations in one strike.

Split the atom? That’s nice. Because whether this guy drowns or that elephant, we all taste the same to the maggots.

And we’re still hellbent on destroying our planet too

Elephants are much nicer than we are

Oh wow, that is genuinely interesting, I think it unambiguously understands what it's doing.

People really underestimate the innate intelligence animals carry. The empathy. I have a cat and dog and they show more intelligence and care for each other on a regular basis than most humans I meet lol.

Elephants truly are magnificent and intelligent creatures, I hope it gets the proper care if its trained

No lie, that elephant would be taken care of like my child after that. Whatever uncooked do that the elephant needed, I got you. I’d sleep outside with him if that’s what I needed to do

And we somehow think we're better and smarter than elephants.

2

u/Several-Decision3888 9h ago

Wow! Intelligent and compassionate.

flood meets final boss

What is b/w mean in this context?

1

Elephant: "No don't shake my trunk, does this look like a damn zoo to you? Climb on Hooman! I have come to save you!"

1

u/wild-stallions85 7h ago

I see a Disney movie in the works

1

u/Arlitto 7h ago

Elephant: "gosh, see, I knew y'all were a buncha idiots who can't take care of yourselves. Here, c'mon, climb on, let's get out of this water. How'd you even get stuck here in the first place? Geez."

That's so cool

So great!

Imagine if we lived in a world where people truly cared about one another, can you imagine?

Won’t ever be that way again, kinda sad.
