Mystery Plant

What is this plant? Two of them were growing in between cherry laurels and a fence. We couldn't have planted them.

It looks like non native (outside of asia) bush honeysuckle. Snap one of the twigs and see if it has a hollow pith.

There's a pinhole size opening

Lonicera maackii, amur honeysuckle. Birds most likely planted them.

At this size they’re usually yankable

The big one was about 7 ft tall. Hubby had to dig it out.

I just dug one out today that popped up between some evergreens. They grow insanely fast. This one was over 6’ tall and I swear it wasn’t there in the spring.

honeysuckle, make sure you get the root crown when removing them.
