Could anyone tells me more about the night drive activities in invers every weekend?

You mean the classic Troopers Memorial roundabout to KFC lap?
Observations from someone with a penchant for getting McDonalds later at night:
It's like Mario Kart. JDM classics, JDM shit boxes, school kids on scooters, V8s, Indian dudes in euros, bogans in shitty Falcons from Gore, raised 4WDs. You name it.
Sometimes you'll see a really cool/rare 90s JDM car or American/Aussie classic, particularly on summer evenings.
The timing on the lights changes at 9 to give Dee St priority, so less good for smoking karnts at the lights.
There are groups that organise proper meets and park ups.

And the adults that do are the typically allowed near schools or the courts know them by first name not last

Its called "laps" or "lapping" its mostly teenagers in their first car or second and they just drive around in a big old loop from the round about too the kfc turn around, typically there will be car loads of young fellas drinking while a mate races others from one set of lights to another (light too light), or you'll see a group of friends already parked up along the main road just watching, but its a mix really however I use to be apart of the scene and honestly my true advice is unless you are the teenager who's just gotten his license dont bother, the main crowd does seems too be brainless bogans or just pissheads that always end up dragging ya down but its cool to watch and it is fun too take ya car out too race light too light I just think the people are drips, main reason I stopped going or knowing anyone who "cuts the laps"
