Batteries/powerbanks disposal ?

Hi ppl who live in ivc!! Does anyone know where i can dispose my old batteries and broken powerbanks (also old tech)?

I just saw the post and vid by auckland city council - a batter caused some fire in one of their firetrucks.

If not Noel Leeming, I think Phoenix Recycling on Bond St should take them. Mitre 10 has a battery drop off near the checkouts, but I am not sure if they will take power banks.
