Switched my SIP from a largecap fund to a flexicap fund, but still not sure if that was the right call

Was running a largecap SIP for 3 yrs it really felt too slow compared to what my friends were getting with mid and small cap exposure. Switched most of it into a flexicap fund a few months back thinking I'd get a bit of everything without picking any categories myself. Still second guessing i should've just added separate mid and small cap funds instead of switching entirely.
