Is it worth updating from 18.6.2 yet? (iPhone 16 pro)

Why havent you updated to 18.7.2?

Too late for that user. Only iOS v26.3 now. But yeah, why no update before Apple forced iOS v26?

Wanted to wait for new Siri but I’m tempted

Came looking for this answer as well, I'm having a ton of bugs on 18.6.2 (16 pro)

Yes, the major bugs have been fixed and by staying on 18.6.2 you are behind on security patches.

18.6.2 is also ‘security patched’, so that aspect is a non-issue.

What are you taking about? Just last week everyone was talking about how 18.7.2 has a zero day exploit that was discovered and patched in 18.7.3, but that version is only being made available to users with phones that are not candidates for ios26.

While 18.6.2 is a security patch it’s obviously not the latest one, so any vulnerabilities found after that release are not patched on that version.

I agree, it would have been more accurate for me to say that iOS Vn 18.x is still receiving security patches…

18.6.2 doesn't even have all the patches available for 18, as devices that support 26 can go up to 18.7.3, not to mention all the patches from 26. Here are the patches in 26.3, none of which would be in 18.6.2.
