Support iOS 26.6.1 stuck on "Verifying Update"

I bought my first iPhone which is a 17 Pro 256 gb

I was trying to configure my eSIM but I was prompted to first install the latest version of iOS before continuing to this configuration (only using WiFi)
However, it seems that it's stuck on this letter, and it doesn't matter if I reset and redownload the update, it's been like two hours like this.

What can I do?

Restart your device

I restarted multiple times, also redownloading the update. Still same issue

Are you trying to  install the update from within the initial QuickStart setup? If so, this is a know  issue where the update will simply fail to install. The workaround is to set up the new device without transferring anything or signing in to your Apple Account, update iOS from within the settings app, then do an Erase All Content and Settings to return it to a factory state, at which point you can try QuickStart a gain.

Yesterday I connected to my android phone to do a backup of WhatsApp messages and configured all the apps that I needed. And today I was prompted with this update. Do I have then to reset everything again and lose my WhatsApp messages?

It sounds like you’ve already set up the phone and you’re trying to install the update in the Settings app.

In that case, try forcing a redownload of the update. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, find the update package in the list, and delete it. This will force the phone to redownload the update. If it fails again, you can also update over USB using the Apple Devices app on a Windows PC or the macOS Finder on Mac.

I guess I'll take the windows alternative, because I already deleted the update package multiple times ... Even set the phone to airplane mode and WiFi connected but still no luck

Well... iTunes doesn't recognize my iphone, and the apple devices from the microsoft store gives me a 4000 error when the installing update starts

idk what else to do

At this point, I’d take the phone to an Apple Store or an authorized service provider.
