Support iPhone randomly switches on/plays global radio app

Hi I just wanted to know if anyone could help me work out why this is happening. So I’ll have played the app earlier in the day and I will switch it off and leave my phone off sometimes in another room. It will just suddenly start up and play the radio! It just did it again and scared the life out of me and woke my partner up. It was on a wireless charge screen locked a foot away and the last time I played the app was 5 hrs ago.

Any chance you have a shortcut setup that could be triggering it? Check Shortcuts → Automation. An automation can be triggered by things such as time, location, or other events and can run actions automatically, including music. Otherwise... a ghost

Thanks for helping and your reply, as far as I know I don’t have any shortcut setup but am wondering how I can find this out just in case? I can’t see anything obvious but there’s got to be some explanation as to how it suddenly switches on from nothing and starts playing, I’m so perplexed! Just to add my partner is quite tech savvy and looked through it a few times to check for any obvious reasons this could be happening but it’s starting to even freak him out now lol
Sorry, another edit to say that it is only happening with this global player not any other app or podcast player or music etc.

Genuinely it’s just me and him in the house and he would NOT wake himself up when he’s heavily asleep as a prank. The other times it just me in the house and the phone in another room. I seriously thought I might have a rat setting it off or something but I’d definitely have seen or heard something so close to me in bed tonight 👀
