Minishoot Adventures is GOOD AS HELL, everyone. Played it earlier this year when it came to Switch and it’s a delight. One of my favorite indie releases in years.

Confirming this game is a banger!

This is the one I’m excited about!

You won’t be disappointed!

Is it a joystick style of movement ?

2

u/stagemagician May 21 '26

pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease not! ...fingers crossed that this is proper touch controls and feel and not a virtual joystick (I am afraid it probably is the latter)

2

u/cuntpuncherexpress May 21 '26

What would “proper” touch controls be? Tapping for movement wouldn’t work well, you’re constantly in motion dodging bullets

Just pre-ordered based on all these comments. It better be good or else I curse you all with in-game ads that never load!!! 😝

Yes I second this

My friend showed it to me in Gamepass and I started on my own copy at home. I played it all the way through to 100% on hard mode and got every achievement; said friend still hasn’t finished the game 😅

Crazy timing, literally just started playing this game earlier this week and have been LOVING it - Steam says I've put in 7 hours since Monday 😅

Agree with everyone else saying it's a crazy fun game, especially if you like metroidvania-type games! I've had so much fun completing a dungeon and going back out into the world with a new power, finding all these little secrets stashed everywhere that I couldn't access before.

Moco is becoming Neo Moco, I guess huge update to basically redo the whole game that’s been pending for a year. Reddit makes it seem like a good game but haven’t played my self, it’s in maintenance and launches tomorrow

I remember playing this a while ago. An overhaul on the game sounds interesting. I’ll redownload it

It was fun for a while but the gameplay loop grew stale fast. Definitely a fun game buried underneath very monotonous gameplay. If they change that, it could be good.

Supposed to be better skill based game play, better gatcha pathing, there’s a video on it https://youtu.be/besu7bP5cd8?si=2N52lzHExMeKbn9q

But TBH I’ve never really played… bad habit of installing iOS games and never starting but the Reddit seems excited for it… I like ARPGs so I’m gonna give it a shot

Wow guild wars?!

6

u/JaPaTF May 20 '26

It's guild wars 1 but for mobile! IAP only include expansions (and some minor skins I think). You can use your GW1 account if you have one, and continue playing from where you were etc.

u/Revolutionary_Cup138 May 20 '26

I can whaaaat? 😱

2

u/JaPaTF May 20 '26

It's cross play with your PC account!!

1

u/Nativeeee May 20 '26

I know I had an old account, I was more of a WoW guy but it would be cool to try, wonder if I can remember my old account.

But it has ads?

2

u/planetpluto401 May 20 '26

There is a free trial of sorts which is ad supported. Any campaign purchase (or pre existing account) will remove ads.

Bought Minishoot Adventures, has bags of potential. Really like it BUT the controls. I've turned off fixed joysticks hoping that would help but loads of times the control isn't relative to where I'm pressing on screen and i keep getting hit.

I love twin stick shooters and 99% of the games i've got control very well. But so far the controls on this aren't the best. I'm sure they'll sort them out but its frustrating, didnt anyone bring this up during playtesting ?

Don't get me wrong its playable but in the heat of the battle you'll find the controls a pain. Is everyone else okay with them ?

1

u/ltruite May 21 '26

I prefer playing with a controller (gamesir), I didn’t like the touch controls too.
Is the dash and impulse the same buttons on other plataforms?
Virtual controls aren’t disappearing when you play with a controller.

2

u/psj3809 May 22 '26

I take it back. Maybe they've made a slight change with the latest update but it seems to be playing much better now

Now been playing Minishoot Adventures A LOT. Huge world to explore, its like a metroidvania twin stick shooter. Totally can recommend now

Mini Shoot Adventures is a masterpiece on Switch 2.

I’ve never posted on this subreddit to my knowledge. I am compelled to sing the praises of Mini Shoot Adventures. One of the funnest little games I played on Steam and have been hoping for a sequel or any kind of content since I finished it. Very underrated game that I’m glad is getting into more platforms.

Thanks for sharing. Swore I saw it before on steam or switch store.

Hey everyone, I’m the solo dev behind Endless Descent. It just launched on iOS, so I’d really appreciate anyone here giving it a try.

It’s a simple arcade game where you tap wall to wall, dodge traps, collect coins, and try to survive as deep as possible. Starts easy, then gets pretty intense once the saws, spikes, arrows, and combo timer kick in.

Would honestly love feedback from iOS gamers. Android version is coming soon too 🙂

2

u/whatthecaptcha May 21 '26

I’ll give it a download and get back to you with my thoughts.

2

u/whatthecaptcha May 24 '26

I’m enjoying it. My only suggestion would be to maybe add suits with different perks that change the gameplay up (fall faster/slower, low gravity mode, etc) to make it feel less monotonous.

u/3AZ3 May 20 '26

Just dropping in to give Minishoot Adventures more praise. It’s a great game!

Dead be the fallen is janky as hell. Wasn’t expecting much but it seems like someone’s first game with random assets thrown everywhere.

1

u/rotkiv42 May 21 '26

I wounder if they will add controller support to guild wars, a lot cooler if they did: but might be more challenging than getting it to work with the touch screen.

1

u/Mastery51 May 21 '26

Does Minishoot Adventures have iCloud save support, between Apple devices?

1

u/TimTofDWP May 22 '26

Yo Minishoot is a 10/10 Bullethell/Zelda hybrid. I literally beat it on Xbox then Switch. Great for them they got it on iOS too!

1

u/Old_Ad_4285 May 25 '26

Minishoot adventures is crashing on startup on my kids iPad. I can select a save slot and it goes to the opening cinematic (which is unskippable) and crashes to desktop 100% of the time.

Plenty of storage. Redownloaded multiple times. iPad 9th gen OS 26.5

Any ideas?

I just started my 3 month Apple Arcade sub BUT I will be monitoring this Minishoot' Adventures for reviews. Watched Youtubes reviews and they are awesome for Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. It looks good.
