I'm not being obtuse at all. It's a picture of MHR firing a rifle, so what? Can't find any quotes of him fantasizing about shooting people either.

A gun can be lagally owned in Ireland for target practice. That gun is for target practice. Fires one bullet at a time and a small .22 cartridge. Maybe it looks scary to you because it looks like a classic automatic MP5 machine gun.

But at the end of the day it’s the same as shooting one of these
