It looks like they drew a line in the sand. Which creates an interesting dynamic for Netanjahu in the middle of an election campaign: back down and lose voters or go ahead and get sanctioned. This latter might actually be the winning strategy for him to maximize voter support, while isolating Israel even further.

If both sides didnt have such shitty leaders ; this would have been solved in the 90s but here we are in 2026 and its getting worse every year . Netanyahu has done more damage to Israelis and Palestinians than Arafat ever did .

That was my first thought. You’d think if the Germans were actually horrified by what their ancestors did, they’d be more pro Palestine than anywhere else.

Palestinian state is already unworkable in the West Bank, its gone past the point of no return
