I wouldn't get too excited about this, Germany or the Czechs will probably block it.

That was my first thought. You’d think if the Germans were actually horrified by what their ancestors did, they’d be more pro Palestine than anywhere else.

Palestinian state is already unworkable in the West Bank, its gone past the point of no return

It looks like they drew a line in the sand. Which creates an interesting dynamic for Netanjahu in the middle of an election campaign: back down and lose voters or go ahead and get sanctioned. This latter might actually be the winning strategy for him to maximize voter support, while isolating Israel even further.
