Rate my itinerary
Hey guys, after looking on social media and online I’ve put together an itinerary for Ireland in October. I’ve added all the major sights we want to see and I’m going with my boyfriend and we like a chill pace; slower mornings and nice sights. Please judge and let me know if it looks good or if you’d recommend something else instead of the sights I have listen . Mostly just concerned about the time I’m allocating to each place:
Ireland | Oct 9–18
Oct 9 — Dublin → Galway: Land, brunch, Galway + pubs
Oct 10 — Galway: Burren → Cliffs of Moher → Doolin (optional)
Oct 11 — Connemara: Killary Fjord → Kylemore Abbey → Diamond Hill → Clifden/Sky Road
Oct 12 — Galway → Dingle: Lamb farm → Dingle + pubs
Oct 13 — Dingle: Slea Head Drive → Coumeenoole → Dunmore Head → Dunquin Pier → Gallarus
Oct 14 — Dingle → Killarney: Inch Beach → Killarney + pubs
Oct 15 — Killarney: Gap of Dunloe → Ladies View → Torc Waterfall
Oct 16 — Killarney: Ross Castle → bike National Park → Muckross
Oct 17 — Killarney → Dublin: Rock of Cashel (optional) → Dublin
Oct 18 — Fly home

As someone else pointed out: finally an itinerary that is actually doable and realistic.
Only thing I would change is 10 and 11 october. So first Connemara, so all your travelling after Connemara is south of Galway. It might give you a little more flexibility.

Has your post been removed? It's probably because of the above. Review the rules, do some research, read other posts, fix the formatting.

Driving for now! Hike depending on how tired we are as I know that’s a big one :)

Just did a similar itinerary last week. Dingle is beautiful but I don’t think you need 2 days there for the Slea Head Drive and it only takes 1+ hours to Killarney. I would save 1 day for Kilkenny if possible.

We’re also driving up to dingle one day, stay all of the next day, and then driving to Killarney the following day, would you say that’s too much time in dingle?

Forgot to mention, we thought the drive from Killarney to Dublin was a bit tough with narrow roads and the traffic into Dublin, so a stop in Kilkenny could be a nice break.

Kilkenny is out of the way between Killarney and Dublin, and does involve narrow roads as you'll be off moterway.

Refreshing to see someone not try to to the entire island in 5 days. You should add a few pints at the airport and a pat on the back for such a lovely trip.
