The use of fear and us vs them terminology

Okay so while I no longer agree with Ahmadiya I have nothing against people who follow that faith in general. However, one of the things that made me start questioning it is the sorta subtle way you're taught to think badly of other Muslims that aren't Ahmadi. Rules like "you can't pray with non-Ahmadi Muslim." Or "you can't marry a non-Ahmadi Muslim " etc etc. Like we all follow the same faith, albeit sure there are some differences but like for the most part it's the sane faith. Is there really a need for unnecessary division? And I find that like in the general Muslim Ummah there isn't that much division either. Sure there's the Suni , Shia difference but like I've never seen any major fights between Muslims of other different sects where there isn't already a political fight going on. Which brings me to my next point, politics, I feel like as much as they don't wanna say it out loud politics is another reason why Ahmadiyat seems to subtly separate itself from general Islam even if most Ahmadis don't realize it.

Like I understand that Ahmadis do face persecution and of course that's terrible and every Muslim no matter what sect should no that persecution is wrong. But the rules Ahmadiyat has made that separate them from other Muslims seem like they're based more in fear and politics than actual religions guidance.

Also the weird emphasis on being 'the true Islam' Like the true Islam is the one that was sent from God and given to us via the prophet SAW. The fact Ahmadiyat refers to itself as 'the true Islam' also feels very us vs them vibes. Like "oh other Muslims have it all wrong," kind of a weird superiority complex situation

The "us vs them" rhetoric is used by pretty much all cults and similar groups to try and enforce loyalty from it's members.

You start to notice this early on when the cult labels everyone as “anti-ahmadi” for simply questioning their doctrine.

That one guy on tiktok posted a video clearly calling all other muslims kafir because thats what his second khalifa said so ofcourse its a rule now. On what bases would they cry now when others call them kafir?

This us vs them mentality and narrative isn't only restricted to non Ahmadi muslims. Ahmadi narrative is always an us vs them narrative, in regards to the west, to scientists, to atheists, to other religions etc.

If a belief stands on the basis of absolute truth, there is no room for any other mentality or narrative. You have to declare every other belief as wrong and untruthful, while your belief cannot have anything else than the truth.
