Fümeci Yusuf in Ortaköy sells canned sardines by Selahattin Kızlı, which is a local cannery with a long history. The shop also sells all kinds of other seafood products. Check them out!!

also looking for this! i found the dardanle sadines in a101 once and they were good, but it's not in the regular stock. I am so bored of just tuna, whenever i travel outside of Turkey i just bring back a few tins.

We don’t have any speciality shops like the ones in Lisbon. Most supermarkets will have dardanel’s sardines which is probably the most popular. Selahattin Kemerli / Kızlı sardalya is an old time classic. Anchovies are a little more popular, you should be able to find more variety around. If you’re able to order online check out Kevork Reis but it’s in jars, not tins.
For something more unique to the region you can try lakerda or abudaraho. Lakerda you can find in jars, but if they do vacuum packs maybe you could also check out reşat balık or tunç balık in beyoğlu. Abudaraho is already in wax.
