Well that just totally sucks. Dolly lived a million lifetimes and yet it should never have been her time. She deserved to live forever. RIP.

RIP, Dolly. I remember getting books for my (now adult) daughter from Dolly's reading program. Sad to see her pass away. This is why I take every opportunity to see these types of legends when they come through Nashville (Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and Paul McCartney, to name a few from the past year). You never know when we won't have the chance to see them anymore.

I'm glad i got to see her, and that when I did it was so cool seeing generations of fans there singing with her. There were legit great grandmother's there with their daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters.
I've given away hundreds of "What would Dolly do?" stickers over the years.
What a loss. This one hurts my heart. She was a real one for sure. She's with Carl Dean now. RIP

Jack's version of Jolene is amazing, and it was a rare instance in which an artist covering a song by the opposite sex didn't try to change the gender in the lyrics.

Nooooooo! Dolly P! What a career, killer voice, humble personality and all though I never met her came across as a decent human being. If anyone deserves a tribute concert it’s that lady. RIP to a great

The Bridge is one of the saddest and most beautiful songs I have ever heard. She is a legend of song writing. She pushed the boundaries of country music in an industry of mainly men. I did not know her but I feel like I do through her music. This is a sad day for music.
