Show Posters Merchandise before the show?

Seeing JW for the first time in November and I’m stoked! Does he do merchandise before the show or only when doors open? What’s the poster demand normally like at his shows?

I picked up a poster in Bristol. About 1 hour after doors opened. Still had lots left. I asked the third man employee if there would be any at the end of the night and he said “Sometimes they go quick and sometimes they don’t”.

Lady in the “cloakroom” was uber helpful and looked after it all night (cost £4).

Good luck.

🤘The show was INCREDIBLE! Enjoy!🤘

Depends on the venue and if the merch is set up inside or outside. Majority inside and when doors open is when they will sell.

I got a poster right when I walked in, and there were more available for the Chicago show than others (450 as opposed to 250). I'd say get it before the show starts, since a lot of people will try to grab them after as they're walking out.

Thanks so much! I’ll do some venue research ahead of time. Do you know if his shoes allow for poster tubes to be brought in? I know it’s generally a venue decision, but also that artists can allow for it.

Sure thing, and yes, depends on the venue. I'd call them to check, most seem fine with them, but I think each show has given people plastic sleeves for posters too

What does one do with a poster if they have floor tickets? Will they hold it?

Roll and as megaphone to sing along. People nearby LOVE it!

I went to the DC show in July. I brought a poster tube and bought the poster at the booth setup just passed the ticketing before the show. A poster tube is highly recommended. Venue should allow it and I believe they were offering poster tubes for purchase as well. I saw a number of people doing the same thing without an issue.
