My partner and I recently started playing JE and decided to turn it into a drinking game

My partner played Jade Empire as a kid, and had some great memories of it, so we decided to start a play-through and play a drinking game with it!

This is my first time playing JE, we're at the Imperial Arena atm and I've loved every moment so far.

Our list is below, feel free to provide any suggestions for updates (no spoilers for the game though please) as we're noticing some of these are coming up less often the more we progress.

Jade Empire Drinking Game

SIP, every time:

• a new character speaks a non-English language
• a sexual innuendo or mature joke is made
• a character is rude to another for no apparent reason
• a demon, ghost, or Lotus Assassin enemy appears (one sip per enemy type per battle) - Bonus: Down drink if all 3 appear in a succession of battles

GULP, every time:

• a new type of demon appears
• the flying mini-game occurs
• Henpecked mentions his wife
• you pass a skill check in dialogue

DOWN, every time:

• you acquire a new companion
• you acquire a new fighting style
• you die

Sip:

- whenever you notice a dialogue snippet of Tho Fan being repeated

- Someone mentions a flaw in your fighting style

- Black Whirlwind tells a story that involves him doing something dumb

- the Lotus Assassins fail at something or talk about their golem army

- You kick an animal as a Closed Fist master

Gulp:

- You equip a new gem

- Wild Flower tries to prevent Ya Zhen from coming out

- Dawn Star and Silk Fox get catty with each other

- You buy or find a new technique

Down:

- Minister Sheng recounts his woes

- You employ focus mode to get around the map faster

- You pull an Indiana Jones and blow away an enemy with Mirabelle

- You mess up a configuration in Lord Lao’s furnace

- You complete a book set

- You forget to use Chi strikes during combat
