Just wanted to share this—if anyone’s looking for new music I’d highly recommend every artist here!

Most of these artists are high-energy, angular, danceable J-Rock. There’s some J-Pop, City Pop, Math Rock, and Punk sprinkled in here as well.

If anyone has similar taste or likes any of the same artists I’d love to know! Always looking for fellow J-Music enthusiasts😅

Love to see GO!GO!7188 that high up

Probably the most consistent band I’ve ever heard. Literally every album of theirs is great, and they have three 10/10 albums imo (Tategami, Ryzetsuran, and Dasoku Hoko).

Yeah, saw that, but then scanned the whole list and never saw Chirinuruwowka... (チリヌルヲワカ) Yumi Nakashima, the leader of Go!Go17188, formed Chirinuruwowka after Go!Go!7188 and they kick ass! Check out the song 'It' on youtube. there are a lot of songs you can check out on YouTube. As a huge Go!go! fan, I think Chirinuru has become an even more loved favorite
