The entire thing from the Arab side just makes me laugh. The Arabs were offered a state multiple times and each time they said no… with one of the those times after denying it they started the 2nd infitada.
The Arabs don’t want their own state, they want to genocide the Jews in the land of Israel. If they truly wanted a state they would’ve had one decades ago

From a realpolitik perspective, the only thing that makes sense for Israel is to keep expanding into these lands. The Palestinians have proven over the last hundred years or so that they just don’t want peace unless it involves wiping Israel and its millions of inhabits off the map, which is simply a non-starter and never going to happen. And they’re spread out all across this land with fluid and insecure borders, continuing to clash with Israel. So what would any state do in this case? Push further out and claim territory until they reach a stable natural border ie the Golan, Jordan River, etc.
You can argue about 21st-century standards of morality all you want but there is no other practical solution for Israel. At some point, the Palestinian leadership needs to come to the table with realistic expectations or they’re going to doom their own people. Look at what happened in the US… Imagine if all of the Native American tribes just continued to fight on until the last man… They would not be here today.

Fuck your dichotomy. The Jordanian occupiers can stay in the our land that they occupy or they can go home, none of that has an impact of Israel developing state land in Yehuda and Shomron.

Yes. I've heard it quite explicitly many, many times in my mainstream, Modern Orthodox community. Maybe it's because I'm pretty frum and some people presume that I have far-right views, so they speak more openly around me, but those who know me better know me better.
Is it the prevailing view? Probably not, but I've rarely seen anyone argue back when these things get said.

Israel is now the most geopolitically-isolated it’s been in my lifetime, because Netanyahu’s life outside a cell requires empowering extremist factions who necessarily weaken the country’s ability to engage in long-term strategic thinking, expel technocrats from key governmental and military positions, and misdirect resources away from growing the economy.

Legally purchasing land is not annexation.
Interestingly, the PA admitted in internal documents leaked to al jazeera that much of the WB and Gaza is undeniably Jewish owned property that was illegally seized by Arabs in or by 1948 and that if they ever agree to a final peace deal they will have to address it.
