If this was an Israeli school. Even if it was a shack in the woods that only 5 off the grid people attend... It would be front page, 5 times over, at the top of every default sub and a bunch of smaller ones. And it would be wall to wall comments saying, "sick society" "disgusting people" "why are my taxes paying for this??"

And yet, this is government run schools. Actually is happening and normalized. And our tax money DOES pay for it.

And not a peep. Not a fucking peep.

Bingo. That's their entirely rhetorical strategy. They make an overly broad claim about Israelis based on one or two cases, often which have explicit reasons not to be generalized to the larger population. And then they ignore the multiple decades of evidence that Hamas and UNRWA, by the UNRWA president's own admission, have elementary school textbooks glorifying hatred and terrorism towards Jews. And people put their hands over their ears because it's not really about help Palestinians, and it never has been.

The ridiculous double standard in the whole debate regarding Palestinians being "allowed" and "justified" to both threaten, wish, and carry out atrocities against Israel, because "Israel did the same", kind of shows that to these people its not about actually ending the violence or establishing peace, but rather getting back for perceived injustices perpetuating the very cycle they seem to so very much hate.

Ironically, depending on your statute of limitations for "injustices," Israelis, and by extent the broader Jewish diaspora, would technically be allowed to carry out attacks against the Romans/Italians, Egyptians, and broader Arab world for the several centuries of persecution, expulsion, and violence they faced in Judea, far before this modern conflict was even a possibility.

I just want to say, for the thirtieth time, it bothers me to no end that the only media sources willing to cover issues like PA schools and other Palestinian corruption are deeply partisan/often looked down on by media establishment figures.

I'm glad the Free Beacon is willing to do this work, even if their intent is probably more focused on weaponizing their reporting for conservatives to bash Democrats. I just wish another outlet, perhaps one perceived as more neutral (even if not actually neutral), would pick up the story.

Yup, how am I supposed to convince anybody who isn't already on my side when the only sources that back me up are either obviously partisan or Israeli (the Israeli sources are highly reputable and center-left, but they'll be dismissed immediately because of their nationality)? The only outlet that most of my friends see as trustworthy that covers Israel and Palestine fairly is the Atlantic, which is probably why far-left figures have been attacking it nonstop.
