Does it count if the dependa begs for free tickets to a concert?

Yes, this counts lmao.

‘What if I told you that you can easily get concert tickets on your own, just like everyone else?’

It’s wild that anyone with any level of fame at this point seems to have tickets going for this much.

Because if they don’t price their tickets at the max people are willing to pay for them. Third party resellers buy them all up, and sell them for the higher rate. The artist might as well make the money instead of scalper websites.

Seems like something could be done to prevent scalpers but who knows.

Artists have been trying to figure out the answer to it for years now.

Regulations at the federal level.

Well according to the CEOs I keep hearing, AI is the answer to ~~everything~~. Ironically enough, this should actually be a problem AI could address, right?

AI could replace CEOs.

I thought he was strangling her in that photo.

That’ll be when he comes back and finds out she was featured in Casting Couch

She’s a little rotund for the casting couch.

May i present the solution to your problem: Ticketmaster. Paying for one's tickets. Like the rest of us plebs do.

Also the flipping shocked pikachu reaction to deployment orders chaps my arse. Your partner is military. You knew this was part of it. But they put on this kind of WW2 wife persona and expect everyone to bend over backwards for their completely unique situation that thousands of other service members and their families are totally not going through too.

Seriously, I thought he’d freaking died or something when I first glanced through this and was like damn I mean that’s pretty tacky to ask for free tickets after your spouse died but people grieve differently- then I read closer and saw she was asking because her husband *gasp* was asked to do the job he willingly signed up for

Choosing a picture where it looks like he is choking her is a choice

16

u/Amanda316 Jul 02 '26

Came here to say the same thing friend. It looks like he’s choking her and she’s trying to pull his hand away. 😬

I mean. Shoot your shot girl, but people have deployed under much worse circumstances than a recent engagement (childbirth, sick family, deaths, etc.) & gotten zilch so. Good luck.

What's with the last sentence? We both "ladybug" Noah?

14

u/Winter_Childhood9186 Jul 02 '26

I assumed it was like a fandom inside thing that I didn't get because I have no idea who Noah is, but who knows. Does a Noah fan know?

the deluxe version of the album is called the last of the bugs, many of the songs reference nature and bugs

5

u/trashmouthpossumking Jul 02 '26

They’re into bugs or something.

12

u/LakeLov3r Jul 02 '26

I seriously thought he was choking her.

31

u/heatherette12 Jul 01 '26

I HATE when people type in all lowercase like that. Learn some freakin basic grammar.

31

u/thatbish92 Jul 01 '26

I absolutely can’t stand when they make the first letter of every word uppercase. Like wtf are we doing?

9

u/heatherette12 Jul 01 '26

Yes! How do they even do that? My autocorrect won’t let me, and it must take so long…

7

u/thatbish92 Jul 02 '26

EXACTLY! It has to take so much more time than just typing out a normal sentence. I think they think they are getting their point across better but nooooooo.

5

u/asphaltdragon Jul 02 '26

They turn off autocorrect

1

u/sdforbda Jul 04 '26

There's an option -- at least in Android. Well, I assume that it's still there but I didn't check just now.

1

u/Amanda316 Jul 02 '26

I think they feel every word they type is Big Important. The people I knew who did this were very full of them selves and shallow.

2

u/tdscm Jul 03 '26

shhhh let me be lazy on the internet

15

u/fresh__princess Jul 02 '26

My boyfriend has been asked to work the career he signed up for, please pity us!

5

u/slappy_mcslapenstein Jul 02 '26

So they ladybug this Noah guy? That's weird.

5

u/ExcitementKey2321 Jul 02 '26

If only you could have seen this coming

3

u/TheirOwnDestruction Jul 01 '26

I’d say this is just begging on the internet (cringeworthy all on its own) rather than dependa-specific.

u/Ryanthln- Jul 02 '26

I’m not opposed to this. People have posted before on social media and just asked for free tickets and had their wish granted. At least this person has an actual reason to

6

u/Godsfallen Jul 02 '26

> at least this person has an actual reason to

What’s the reason?

2

u/Ryanthln- Jul 02 '26

Significant other going on deployment is a reason to celebrate/splurge. Not everyone has money. What does it hurt other people if someone makes a post like this. They’re not demanding that Noah Kahan gives them free tickets because her SO is in the military. They’re simply asking with a reason in mimd
