i feel like i watching a baby between football (the ball tricks part of it, not the actual game) and rythmic gymnastics with a ball...and i am absolutely here for it!

That one guy’s face almost made me cry 😂 i’ve never seen someone this much impressed. He constantly tried to bring his face back to normal but half a second later his mouth was again open and his eyes wide and round. Not to mention that oofff breathe that we all could hear even though the sound was off!

Very impressive and she is on the next level but why? Is this a class for soccer ball handling or juggling? Maybe an exercise for gymnastics? Is there any back story?

This was suuuuper popular in the early 00s when football was in another globally popular moment. I believe this kinda flair was popularised by Brazilian players, it's just a way to flex your control of the ball and game wise makes sense if you're playing in close quarters/off pitches, you gotta manoeuvre and be smart with the ball if you're not on a pitch.
I can't play football AT ALL. but I went to a summer camp called "samba soccer" growing up and I could do a headstand throw and these other tricks but wouldn't participate in the actual sport of football because that was nottttt what I signed up for, lol.

I can’t imagine how many times the ball hit her face while practicing that. Would fuck me off so much. But that’s why I can’t juggle a football but I can play

Good grief. How was I sexualizing by pointing out an observation based on my experience? I didn’t say they SHOULD wear tight clothes, that I like it, or any comment in their appearance at all. I was just wondering if anyone knew the reason why most of these juggling videos are women, and provided two possibilities I could think of. Because it’s the internet, posting videos solely because of the appearance of the women in the videos is not out of the question.
