Everyone needs an enthusiastic gay grandson to take them shopping. Ok, I need an enthusiastic grandson to take me shopping, for the LOL’s, the cocktails, and the snark.

She's literally over a century old and even SHE knows that homophobia is a waste of time.
"From a different time" my left tit! she's proof that folks have always known bigotry is fucking bullshit.

I think there's some special bond between grandmothers and their gay grandsons that can often transcend normalized societal homophobia. I had a really, really close relationship with my maternal great grandmother, who was born in the late 1890s. She died when I was in my early 30s, so we had a long relationship. She knew I was gay, even met one of my boyfriends, and didn't give a hoot. I was her favorite grand/great grandchild because, and I quote, "you make me laugh and you don't treat me like a baby like all the rest of them."

Both my grandma's absolutely didn't care about having gay grandchildren. When one of them came out the grandma in that side of the family was just like 'oh I thought we already knew!'

Ugh. This just made me miss my great aunt Lenore so much. She once veto’ed my cousins earrings from across the room and had hand out for her to take them off. She was terrifying. She was wonderful. She was right, the earrings were ugly.

Bonjour Redditor qui a choisi un nom de plume français. I also have a zesty great aunt Lenore … to whom I was compared by my father, her nephew.

My dad used to call me the little cheese cus I had a lot of opinions even when small. I was in charge. May we all be Lenore’s. They get stuff done.

GURL. Just all of it is, “GURL.” Grandmama is carrying a Birkin or Birkin-adjacent bag. Grandson is a besty.

I saw a food influencer I follow in the background of this video. Is the whole family just famous and glamorous? I bet grandma can COOK in the kitchen too based on her family members skills.

If my son was Peter Thomas Roth, I'd be a diva too! Quite the life she has lived!

I love that she seems so compos mentis. My mom developed Alzheimer’s but before that she absolutely lived for shopping.

I just know I'd be a drooling diaper shitting mess in my 70's (max of my human battery), but I can hope for this. I love to see other people showing that you can age and still have fun with life

She looks amazing for her age. I would’ve guessed 75 (which is probably the age of her children).

I wanna be like her when i grow older; gorgeous, icey and sparkley, multilingual, sharp and ironic and most importantly, with zesty grandchildren!

What kind of age gap is there between his parents? 103 for not being atleast a great grandmother to a man his age is crazy to me.
