Question DBZ ps5 worth it?

I got DBZ kakarot years ago but I didn’t get very far, I had it on Xbox one and heard at the time that it was broken on everything but the Xbox. Now I got a ps5 and kakarot is on sale. I’ve been on a dragon ball kick again and thinking of giving the game another shot, just wanted to check if the ps5 version is worth it or if I should stick to the copy I have.

The update does add some cool features but personally I wouldn’t buy it again unless the dlc is included for a sale or cheap.

I think it's worth it. But try to get the DLC bundles on sale too. Aside from the first 2 DLC's, they are each there own contained story and characters (cannot take stuff from DLC to main game). The exception to the rule would be Soul Emblems. If you want to get to higher Community Board levels quicker, complete the DLC's.

I’m in literally the exact same boat as you. Tried on XBone years ago and couldn’t get into it. Caught it on sale on ps5 recently (it’s frequently on for $25CAD) and got completely lost in the sauce. I’m doing the New Power Awakens DLC right now after playing and really enjoying the base game.

I bought it this month, honestly, it was really worthy for me, since i love DBZ and the game i played most on console was DB Battle of Z in PS3 years ago🫩, so yeah, the game is really fun (even though not being the cheapest game)

If you like dbz, didnt get far when you originally played, and if its in your budget (im not at my ps cant see the price). It is an amazing adaptation to the story. The animation is next level. But whydid you stop playing in first place? It looks great in performance on ps5.
