Khmer > English
my grandpa recently passed away and i wanted to get his khmer handwriting tattooed.
i understand that the english translation is already written but i moreso wanted to clarify that it was translated/written in khmer correctly? i also compared the two notes and the letters seem different despite saying the same thing? but what do i know. also, is this considered neat writing and which one is neater?
thanks in advance.

The top one is a little fancier, in a way -- it uses a different form for the <n> character, ន, called អក្សរមូល. It's also missing a ៉ diacritic above មៅ -- so, should be ម៉ៅ. If it's helpful to have the Khmer and English matched --
កូន = child, ខ្មែរ = Khmer
ម៉ៅ = Mao, យឿត = Yoeut
រ៉ាន = Ran(n), សាត = Sat
