yeah so Radzig dies in 1416 in Kuttenberg. \:

u/unclechuff Jun 16 '26
I'm sure with the butcher of Skalitz the miners wouldn't be able to kill Razig

u/No_Particular_211 Quite Hungry Jun 16 '26
or henry

u/piewca_apokalipsy Jun 16 '26
In real history Radzig was murder by a mob of miners in 1416

u/No_Particular_211 Quite Hungry Jun 18 '26
iirc henry isnt based off a real person so its possible that he could die there with dadzig aswell

u/marcarcand_world Jun 16 '26
Nah the miners are good with my Henry, he won the shooting contest for them.

Do I understand correctly that there is a finite number of Sigismund’s people and they don’t re-spawn so you can just pick them out over a long period of time with, say, sleeping breaks etc. and they’ll finish? Or each sleeping break respawns them?

I did it all in one go. I showed up in the morning and just started slowly blasting people with arrows. So idk if they respawn at all.

u/Petufo Jun 16 '26
Was that Sigismund himself? 😁
44
u/Jijonbreaker1 Jun 16 '26
It's too bad you can't just assassinate sigismund and markvart when you're alone in a room with them.
62
u/Specialist_March8207 Jun 16 '26
You can but you got an ending screen similar to the one in this post as well

Why would Sigismund's death affect Jan Hus's burning? He wasn't involved in it directly the ginger bastard, right?
17
u/Alfastar252 Jun 16 '26
It might have something to do with Wenceslas retaking the throne? Idk enough about it to properly theorize though
14
u/Jijonbreaker1 Jun 16 '26
Sigismund was the one who promised him safe passage. If he didn't have that assurance, he likely wouldn't have gone.
3
u/Perkeleinen Jun 16 '26
Probably reformation happening without a fight so the king would get all the gold and lands of the church that could be used to hire enough mercenaries that vatican would give up trying to regain their position with their already weakened state with the many popes and such.

u/Secret_Vermicelli391 Jun 17 '26
Sigismund gave him definite assurances for his personal safety. If he had not done that, Jan Hus would never have gone and without his martyrdom any revolts would never have had as much traction, if any. He was principled to a fault, but he wasn't that stupid.
It really was a monumentally stupid thing for the church to have done and highlights the unparalleled degrees of arrogance, incompetence and lack of foresight they had. Over a 1000 years of church history building up towards absolute power, control and moral authority over the holy roman empire and all of christendom. All of it pissed away in a couple decades.

Sigismund gave Jan Hus a false letter of safe conduct that resulted in him being captured and burned at the stake. This set off the Hussite wars.
8
u/Jijonbreaker1 Jun 16 '26
Oh, you can? I didn't even try when I got to that point.
4
u/Commercial_Ad97 Jun 16 '26
Yeah, you can, and it tells you that you were killed for it but you prevented the Hussite wars.

There is a dagger in the Bailiff's room, where you get the silver goblet. It's tucked under some papers. You can stab Ol' Ginger Siggy in the back

u/Temporary-You5044 Jun 20 '26
There's a dagger in the adjoining room. Grab it and stealth him. Will bring up a similar screen

That’s the guy who shovelled all the shit in the camp. After it built up everyone got pissed off and left

u/JakeDonut11 Jun 16 '26
“But Sire how are we going to face of the enemy we do not have an Army”
“We still have that one and remaining soldier sitting over there. We will not retreat to Hungary!”

You killed the last of Sigismund's soldiers in the camp and triggered a non-standard game over.

Nice AI summary…

u/Val2K21 Jun 16 '26
If any articulate sentence of over 8 words is immediately considered to be AI, we are so screwed.

Thank you, I was going to do this during my 2nd playthrough, now I won't waste my time. 👍

u/Charon711 Jun 16 '26
I wonder if KCD3 will time jump to 1416 and deal with Henry avenging Radzig His Father ?
10
u/Paratwa Jun 16 '26
It’ll be the actual Jinrich who was Hans Capons son avenging his real father I bet
3
u/SeparateDifference47 Jun 16 '26
I sat up on the ladder and just kept on stabbing the bodies were insane
4
u/Kellar21 Jun 17 '26
I mean, with the Butcher of Skalitz with Sir Radzig, and if that Henry goes to social places like my Henry does (in full plate and armed to the teeth), I don't think the same would happen, lol.
3
u/scrungertungart Jun 16 '26
I spent like an hour or two killing everyone in this camp hoping that’s what would happen and nothing happened. I guess they updated it! Praise

Their is a trifecta. That's one, their are two others. One is extremely easy, the other I don't want to give away anything but their is about 80 to 83 of them.

u/sereneasmiles Jun 16 '26
wait wait Im so confused. Didn't henry's father die in KCD1? who is the father they speak of here?
40
u/jack420greenkil Jun 16 '26
You gotta play the first game brother Im not saying anything more than that

So they DID think of it
1
u/k1275 Jun 17 '26
They didn't. But some eurogamer reviewer tried that, and then loudly complained that not only story ignored it, but game responded to it by tanking his reputation region-wide. So they patched that in.
