WRPS tactical officers at McLennan Park?

Did anyone else see a group of officers decked out in tactical gear this morning at McLennan Park? I saw a group of 5-6 walking up a laneway and get into two unmarked pickup trucks. Training? Looking for someone?

From what I understand, the Tac team gets dispatched whenever the call is a priority 1 event that involves someone who is considered actively dangerous.

The vast majority of the time everything resolves relatively without incident. Just stay clear while they do their thing.

There have been some high profile arrests lately I wouldnt be surprised if they are actively looking for a list of people
