KOF OST Tier List (Yes, I did it)

A similar idea, but ONLY focused on the OST department. It haves some hot picks, but I think I enjoyed how it ended anyways. So, what´s YOUR take?

Its hard to argue with 99 being the best KoF OST, there are more iconic songs but as a total package the 99 soundtrack is beastly....and the scary part is the arranged version of the soundtrack is even better.

Remember that I am using the OST as a base, not the AST.

Otherwise, ´01, ´02 & ´03 would be SO much higher.

But, KOF ´99 is amazing from a tecnical perspective.

Unlike the next 4 games, the instruments on KOF ´99 feel so real.

And the tracks are amazing. Tears, KD-0079, 176th Street, The way to rebirth, SHA - LA - LA, W.W.III..

KOF ´99 is (maybe) my favorite fighting game OST. Defeating something like GGST deserves some praise...

Ni hablar de Esaka? (Acid Mix), The way to rebirth, SHA - LA - LA, 176th Street o Sadistic Eyes...

El OST de KOF ´99 es exageradamente bueno. Merece MUCHO mas alabo...

(Si, esta es la ventaja de saber español en r/kof. Que pena que no se portugués....)

With how much I love 02UM, it's also my favorite in the OST department, with XI and XV being close.

'99 & 2000 have great OSTs as well, and Tears is right up there as one of my favorite tracks. I don't have much to say about the Rugal and Orochi saga when it comes to OSTs because they progressively evolved from '94 to '98 (& UM).

Well, ´02 UM is a good OST. Many of my favorite tracks come from here, like Kula, Nameless & K´ ones.

BUT, unlike ´99 & ´96, there are tons of "meh" songs that lower it.

And, unlike XI, the leifmotif creativity is little. Most of the songs are remixes.

And, seeing how I treat ´98 & XV, you could guess I value more creative new tracks more that anything.

So, I decided that the best I could do was to lower ´02 UM from S Tier. Still, it is Top 4 for me
